Combine Clastly actions in the Shortcuts app to automate adding records and changing field values.

Choose an action

ActionWhat it does
Add RecordAdds a record to a collection.
Capture to CollectionAdds a record from links, text, or files.
Create Field ValueCreates a field value to pass to Add Record.
Set Field ValueChanges a field value in an existing record.
Set Field Value in RecordFinds a record by collection and title, then changes a field value.
Edit RecordDisplays a record’s fields for editing.
Open CollectionOpens a collection in Clastly.
Open RecordOpens a record in Clastly.
Search All RecordsOpens Clastly’s search screen for titles, field values, and notes.
Search RecordsSearches a specified collection by title or field values.

Choose values to pass to fields

Value types include text, numbers, dates, booleans, and options. Some fields, such as created time, last edited time, and formula results, can’t be written to directly.

Pass the output of Create Field Value to Add Record to specify values when creating a record.

Use Edit Record on different OS versions

Edit Record displays a form on iOS 26 or later and iPadOS 26 or later. On earlier versions, it opens the record in Clastly.
