Ask Siri to add a record to a collection or open record search.

Add a record with Siri

Create the destination collection in Clastly and make sure Siri is available on your iPhone or iPad.

  1. Activate Siri.
  2. Say “Add a record to Travel Log in Clastly.” Replace “Travel Log” with your destination collection’s name.
  3. When asked for a title, say the title of the record you want to add. A record with that title is added to the specified collection.

You can also say “Add to Travel Log in Clastly” or “New Travel Log record in Clastly.”

If the destination isn’t found, check the collection name in Clastly and say it again. If you can’t start the action by voice, open Clastly’s Add Record action in Shortcuts and specify the collection and title.

Open search with Siri

  1. Activate Siri.
  2. Say “Search records in Clastly” or “Find a record in Clastly.”
  3. When Clastly’s search screen opens, enter the words you want to find in the search field.

The search screen searches titles, field values, and notes across all collections. For details, see Search records across all collections.
