Use filters to show only records that match your conditions, and sorting to change their order.

## Add filter conditions

1. Open a collection and tap the selected view's name at the top.
2. Tap :ui[Filter…]. The filter editor appears.
3. Use :ui[Add Condition] to choose the title or a field.
4. Choose a condition type and enter a comparison value.
5. To add more conditions, choose :ui[Add Condition] again.
6. Tap :ui[Close]. Conditions take effect automatically as you change them.

For numbers, you can choose :ui[Greater Than or Equal]; for dates, :ui[On or Before] or :ui[In Range]; and for checkboxes, :ui[Checked] or :ui[Not Checked]. When you add multiple conditions, only records that match all of them appear.

If a condition isn't applied, check for missing comparison text or options. If no records appear, check whether any records match every condition you added. If records are missing only on another device, see [Records don't appear on another device](https://www.clastly.com/support/sync/not-syncing.md).

## Sort records

1. Open :ui[Sort] in the current view's menu.
2. Under :ui[Sort By], choose :ui[Title] or a field that supports sorting.
3. Under :ui[Order], choose :ui[Ascending] or :ui[Descending].

Sorting uses one criterion. To sort by creation time, choose :ui[Default (Created Time)].

## Clear filters

1. Open the current view's menu.
2. Tap :ui[Clear Filter].

If you change a saved view in Clastly Pro, tap :ui[Save Changes] in the view menu.
