Change a collection's name or description in its editor, or archive it to remove it from the list.

## Change the name or description

1. Touch and hold the collection in the collection list. If the collection is open, tap its name at the top.
2. Tap :ui[Edit Collection]. If there are no active fields, choose a template to open the editor.
3. Edit :ui[Name] or :ui[Description]. Changes are saved as you make them.
4. Tap :ui[Done] to close the editor. The new name appears in the list.

## Archive a collection

Archiving removes a collection from the regular list. You can restore an archived collection.

1. Touch and hold the collection you want to remove from the collection list.
2. Tap :ui[Archive]. The collection leaves the regular list without a confirmation screen.

## Restore or permanently delete an archived collection

1. Open :ui[Archive] in the collection list.
2. Touch and hold the collection you want to bring back, then tap :ui[Restore]. The collection returns to the regular list.
3. To erase a collection, touch and hold it and choose :ui[Delete Permanently].
4. On the confirmation screen, check the collection's name and tap :ui[Delete].

:::warning
You can't restore a permanently deleted collection from the archive. Check the name before confirming deletion.
